Gorillaz revela tracklist completo de Song Machine:de Elton John hasta St. Vicente

Si no fue suficiente con el estreno de «Strange Timez» junto a Robert Smith, a pocas horas de este lanzamiento, Gorillaz anunció a través de sus redes sociales causando conmoción al revelar el tracklist de este proyecto que desde este año comenzarón.

El grupo animado comenzó sus avances en enero para conmemorar su vigésimo aniversario, y desde entonces nos ha sorprendido compartiendo colaboraciones con Slaves, Slowthai, Peter Hook, Georgia y más recientemente con Robert Smith de The Cure.

Al revelar Gorillaz este tracklist, se conoció la existencia de cinco temas más por estrenar para la versión estándar de esta serie y respecto a la versión de lujo, cuenta con seis temas extras, siendo un total de 17 canciones inéditas que Gorillaz compartirá a lo largo de este año.

Las colaboraciones que causan mayor controversia en este albúm que ha reunido a artistas como Peter Hook, se encuentra Elton John con el tema «The Pink Phantom», Beck con «The Valley of the Pagans» entre otros.

Song Machine saldrá a la luz el próximo 23 de octubre, junto con un almanaque de más de 200 páginas creado por Z2 comics para celebrar el 20 aniversario de la banda y por si no fuera suficiente, Gorillaz se presentará vía livestream los días 12 y 13 de octubre.
